    Seems to lack luster.

64 RB. There are a couple spots on the reverse that hold it back from a 65, in my opinion.

Sure does.. Maybe even so much to keep it at MS 63 RB... I think the coin is MS 64 RB

I don't think it would grade at a TPG, looks cleaned (could be the picture though) and the rim marks are ugly (from a holder of some sort?)

My guess is MS65RB - it looks nice and smooth, as well as pretty much mark-free. I don't think the spots or somewhat subdued luster are enough to keep it below MS65.
  • The pic is of the obv is too bad to tell. It's whited out. I could go from AU up to 64.

Looks AU and the color looks odd.

The basic "look" is MS-65, R&B, but I'm not sure about the color. It could be from the scan, but the piece may have been cleaned to get that color. If it has been cleaned, it won't grade.

Hard to say from a photo, my first reaction was the color is funny and maybe that is why its still in a rattler.

Difficult to tell without the coin in hand. It looks as though it may have some luster breaks, so my gut reaction would be 58. I think the color is fine and just washed out from being overly lit in the photo. If there is no break in the luster, then I would have no problem giving it a 64RB.

Very clean but the dull hazy brown makes me want to drop it a point. I'll go 64RB

I'll assume the dullness is because of the picture or scan, so I'll go 64RB.

I'm changing my guess. I'm going to say 64Red in an old "PCGS Flatpack Holder" image

65RB. Clean cheek, no distracting marks, no carbon spots. I'm giving the luster the benefit of the doubt, since it can't be ascertained with a single photo.

I'll go with the majority here and say 64RB.

The hell with the grade, lets guess the slab image

It looks like the original old PCGS slab with the tabs that cover the coin in 3 places.
Slightly rotated in the slab, as these old rattlers often do, by 15 degrees to the East.

I guess 63RB, they were tough in this era.
  • I think I see some luster. It has definitely been handled some, there is rub on all high parts. Are the TPG's forgiving on rub on these coins? If not, AU58 RB.

I'd say 63. Assuming the color is off on the picture. Seems to be some smudges on the fields.
  • AU 58

Looks like a 63RB possible 4 in a early gen pcgs holder.
