Am I the only person who thinks reverse proofs look horrible? And I don't just mean these US pieces. I think the Canadian, British, and other countries reverse proofs all look bad.

I also don't care for them. The devices should be frosty so you can more easily appreciate the art work without a lot of flash interfering with your viewing.

I'm glad you said what I was thinking. I think the reverse proof on the Franklin dollar made it kind of cool. But this design doesn't lend itself well to the reverse proof. I see it and I think velvet Elvis.
