ANA Young Numismatist Program

Who wants to pledge to the ANA Young Numismatist program? I am in for $100. Lets show the ANA what forum members can do for this cause! Just make a pledge and honorably follow up by making a gift online or through the mail. What do you say......how much can we raise before this years ANA?

I gave while I was at the ANA Seminar. I agree, it's a great cause. Even if no one else pledges anything, you'll do a very good thing by your donation.

Why do you think no else has pledged yet, I would have thought this would have been a good "forum" to generate a little excitement for such a cause?

This forum has actively given away prizes and goodies to YN's. There is definite support for YN's here, but I wouldn't worry about trying to "raise money" on this forum.

You have a good heart. And, I'm sure the YN's will appreciate that. Make sure you spread your enthusiasm to your local coin clubs and if/when you go to the ANA Seminars!

Simply put, it is the section of the ANA that deal with increasing interest in coin collecting among young people. For example, the ANA provides scholarships for some young numismatists to attend summer seminar.
