My new sorta old quarter
Just arrived yesterday in the mail.

I'm really liking early quarters. This is my 6th draped bust and 16th pre-seated quarter, and I'm really getting a taste for them.
I had been buying bust half dollars (dimes and half dimes too) and it was only a matter of time before quarters caught on. They do
appear to be tougher to get a hold of, and the 1820's have a couple of killer dates. The 1823 and 1827 will most likely never darken
my doorstep, although I'd love to have multiples of each.
One thing about all early bust (both draped bust and "Turban head") types, all the myriad die marriages, die cracks/breaks, cuds and
other such anomolies really adds a lot to the enjoyment of the search.

We have done a fair amount of business recently and every one has been smooth as a babies butt!
We'll use our hands and hearts and if we must we'll use our heads.

Yeah, can you imagine dropping that into a public telephone back getting ready for the war of 1812?
Okay, maybe not, but maybe dropping four of those on the counter of the local taco bell for a burrito back when JQ Adams was the President?

ST is a good guy with good coins and good taste. I've never seen him in person though so I didn't know about the smoth as a babies tookis thing LOL
I met stman at SF last year during the ANA, only in passing and I was all doped up because of my hips so I don't recall testing the smooth as a babies tookis theory, but as far as business deals, he's top notch.

And I have to agree- stman makes it easy to send him big checks because he has nice coins
You know he is not going to try to slip one by you because if it is his, you know no one slipped one by him.

And I like your checks as well!

Isn't it ironic how these coins were MONEY back when they were made-Now we use checks and credit cards and PayPal to buy the MONEY
I love crusty Busts!
