  Who are you buying all these from? I have been buying tons of Morgans and other than some AT's...none of them have the problems that you are having with these....

  The reverse looks OK to me, but the obverse has had some polishing done on it. The problem areas appear to be the shiny spot behind the head and in front of Ms. Liberty's face.
  
  It's a shame that for your $30 or whatever, all you get is a cryptic message from the grading services. It would not kill them to write ONE sentence now and then that would help the consumer understand the BB.

  Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

  I completely agree with this.... Are there hairlines in the fields that would indicate a past cleaning?
