I think the seller IS the collector, and is using the story to heighten interest in the auction. Pretending to be ignorant about coins is very useful in deflecting any questions about the specifics of the collection.
But why don't the seller's other auctions have the same story? Where did the numismatic knowledge come from for those listings?
New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

That's what I'm thinking, too. I think they really do have these coins for sale, but probably none of them ARE MS-70 and, if there really is a "catalog value" of $8,000+, it's probably using the PCGS guide for PCGS MS-70 coins when these are nowhere near.
And auctions like these get more hits as people forward "look at THIS one!" all over the Internet.
Since you can't see what it is a list of what is there would be nice!

Location shows seller is in Greeley CO...My brother lives there..I Should call him and have him ask her if he could come to her place and check the coins out?
It is a nice scam; the most successful scams have the "bait" feeling like they're the one doing the scamming. Sure, we're smart enough not to fall for it, but someone out there will be "dishonest" enough to try and rip off a non-existant ex-husband. The real scammer feels such low life deserves it, the victim comes away feeling like they got a major rip. (For 3 or 4 days, anyway)

Those slabs look like the coin word deals that alphabet companies are so fond of. While I am not defending this auction, it is entirely likely that each of those slabs has "MS70" printed right on it.

The name is LEE!
"Graded, untouched or whatever" - but most are MS70! She must have learned to grade quickly!
<< <i>I don't believe this one for a second! >>
Nor do I - sounds like the guy who put his ex-wife's wedding dress online and posed wearing it with the big sob story.
I like the unsearched rubies in the sellers' feedback

<< <i>Total scam - look at the other auctions, how can you get a certified coin in a 2x2? Certified uncertified >>
Just playing devils advocate - If she writes MS69 on the 2x2, then it's technically certified.
