..i agree -

however , i believe Rainbow toning can also be a toned coin that exibits every color of the rainbow .

But there is no doubt that " Rainbow Toning " is one of the most abused terms in numismatics .

Hey thanks Russ, This helps a lot as I was watching this one "Rainbow" that says "Rainbow toned." It says so and I know it must be true. But it's two "Respected" forum members we're talking about now both describing this. Hmmm, I'm soooo confused. Since Russ is my hero I'm gonna believe him.

That Morgan may not be "Rainbow Toned" by our accepted definition, but, there's no arguing that Dick of Great Toning is in the top three of all image photographers on this forum. So at least we can properly judge for ourselves, exactly what the coin looks like.
