Would this come back as a cameo ?

I picked up these 2 coins at the local show Sunday

These 2 are the before pics


I believe this is a cameo, He is getting a bath and hopefully the haze and spots will be gone.

    The haze should come off, but those milk spots are likely there to stay.

    Nope. Not deep enough nor enough contrast, unless the pics are really bad...and they don't look bad.

    I agree with segoja. Not enough contrast if the pictures are showing the true story.
    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible.     Hi Gil,
    Here is a pic of a 63 that in my opinion would probably make CAMEO. I took the picture with diffused light (the old lampshade trick) to show the contrast and avoid reflections. Just put the word lampshade in the search engine in this forum if you want to know more about this technique. It is the easiest way to photograph proofs in my opinion.

    Now way on both, unfortunately, at PCGS.

    Dont think they would make it at NGC either.
