    I cringe every time I see that Ventura/Ryan fight. Ventura is one of the classiest ballplayers this world will ever know, but I'm still not sure what he was thinking. And unfortunately, that fight is what he will always be remembered for.

    Great link! Yeah, Nolan Ryan was treating Ventura like a bull that escaped from his ranch. But it didnt look like Ventura came at Ryan swinging, it looked like he wanted to wrestle him down. Bad idea! Still they were both great players!

    Yes but the amount of blood that Ventura deposited on Ryan's jersey was proof positive that he got at least one good lick in.
