    I grade sports cards for the top grading company in the country. Many people reference me as being related to the grim reaper. Others seem to know me by my authentification code (314). I am only human and do tend to lean toward the conservative side when grading. There are attempts by management to say I am not just one person. Trust No One.
    I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.

    Someone in my Sunday thread asked why I wouldn't like Mondays if I'm retired.

    I have a private dental practice here in San Antonio - I work 3 days a week including Monday.

    So, I'm not complaining as much as venting.

    The only way I would like Monday is if I could come in at 10 AM and be out by 1 PM!

    Degree: B.S. in Forensic Chemistry.

    Career: Currently a Clinical Data Associate, soon to be (within the next few weeks) Clinical Data Manager.

    Basically, I take a look at the data generated during clinical trials of experimental pharmaceuticals and check for any data points which appear "out of whack", any patterns that may be showing up due to the treatment, and I also ensure that all data is reported cleanly, efficiently, and that all deadlines are met so that the results can be reported to the FDA for approval.

    Side Income: I play a weekly poker game which has been a nice source of side income for me over the past few years. I've never felt like going "pro" with it because then the game would lose its "fun". I play once a week, bring home about $100 in extra cash on a routine basis and enjoy it.

    Things I spend money on: Currently saving up to purchase a home. Have a collection of the elements on the periodic table. (Click Here). Collect Topps Baseball Cards from 1980 through the present. Collect the coins currently in circulation. Go golfing whenever I can.
    I collect the elements on the periodic table, and some coins. I have a complete Roosevelt set, and am putting together a set of coins from 1880.

Every 18 months or so they will shut down a nuc plant and all kinds of maintenance work is done normaly for 30 days. I work 6 months a year but it's good money and I'm off in the summer and winter. The hard part is working 6 days a week 12 hours a day. Lots of travel also.

    Well, I was only a scant few weeks away from being a full-time driver at a large brown parcel delivery company (who shall remain nameless...) before I was injured at work (5 years of drudgery loading/unloading boxes to aquire enough seniority to drive) and after surgery and rehab am permanently 56% disabled. I was 26 when I got hurt in 1998 and have been a full time dad ever since , my oldest was 5 months old when I was injured and I had never even changed a diaper at that point. What a great life (although painful in my back) it is and am grateful to God for the chance I have been given with my boys. Truly good things can come from bad situations every once in a while. Good thing my wife has a great-paying job or we'd be screwed.
    Just glad to be here with everyone.
