To be convicted in criminal court, it needs to be beyond a reasonable doubt, unlike in civil court (e.g. O.J. Simpson).
Also, the charges were dropped, which is different from being aquitted.

Neither of us are psychologists, which means neither of us are qualified to talk about this. However, one could possibly see consensual sex after a rape as an attempt to regain control of ones life and body, after control was taken away.

No, he would be not guilty if the case carried on, and he was aquitted. However,
a) Charges dismissed, NOT aquitted
b) Just because one is found (not) guilty does not prove it, nor mean that they really are (e.g. 26 death row inmates have been exonerated---On the other end of the spectrum, while double jeopardy prevents not guilty/guilty examples, think of O.J. Simpson for a third time)

But one thing to correct... "charges dropped" does not mean lack of evidence. More than likely it is because the person who pressed charges had them dropped... which is why there was a cash settlement. Just like in the previous Michael Jackson cases.
