I'll split the difference....my first inclination from the small pics would be

    VF35

My first impression was VF35 also, tough to tell from pics that small.

35 is about right from what I can see- Amazing how that coin could have circulated that much before SOMEONE said--Holy crap-I need to save this one.
Some coins are just plain "Interesting"

Looks to be EF40, but the images are not all that great. Photos would be better than scans.

I can say "BN" with reasonable certainty image

Maybe ef40... I just cannot see intricate details from the images.

So far no one has even come close to guessing the grade.

Here goes.......I say exf-45......it could possibly stretch into an AU-50. The reason I say this is because Lincoln is actually doubled so his beard is smooth on that coin and gives it a circulated look. As a matter of fact, I'm going to change my opinion and say AU-50 all the way. It's a very nice looking coin too. One that I would be proud to own if the price were right (hint...hint).

Mid AU50'ish- maybe AU53 (although that grade isn't used very often anymore). Nice color/luster protected in the devices.

Probably because the image is not even close to representing the way the coin really looks.

    EF-40

In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

My guess from the images would be 35-40.

I agree with several other guesses... VF35/XF40
    When in doubt, don't.

My first guess was ef40-45, but if nobody was close yet, AU50

Haha. He said no one was close. Figured I'd throw out a crazy number.

Honestly I'd say EF. Exact number, depends on graders mood.

Okay, so now we have guesses ranging from F-15 to AU-55, surely someone must have come close by now. Inquiring minds want to know....

I still think my guess of VF35 is more accurate, and PCGS made a clerical error by entering the grade backwards. image
