No slab just graded by NGC with an insert, won't fit in a slab, it is in a very large SAFLIP...

No the flip is not sealed, so yes it could be swapped, and maybe it already has, just a chance to take. I think it is a decent looking coin regardless, don't think there is a way for any TPG to put these in slab?
As far as the rims go they are quite clean, part of what you see 1-2 and 10-11 O'clock on the obverse is some metal flow. Granted there are some small dings as well, not sure how these were handled during
and after the minting, but it does not take much to ding these big boys
Spink pricing for these in the 2005 edition is £325 in EF and no pricing in Unc, I paid $460 including the juice....

Thanks for all the comments, I am happy with this purchase, and it is a nice match with my 1797 1d of MS-60 as graded by ANACS, which is in platic.....
Just out of curiosity: does anyone know if there is any easy way to tell, just by looking at a screenshot, whether it's a 1 pence or 2 pence?
My specimens are both worn way too flat to spot the difference...
