I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Considering who posted the images, I will presume that they are approximately 99.985% true to life.
They are ALL Red Uncirculated
Now I'm sure to have guessed correctly

I'm sure glad Stewart was willing to stick his (brave) neck out with such a risky and bold assessment.

I like the 1889 the best, the 1908, the least.

65 or 66 RD - think the 1889 is heads and shoulders nicer than the other two

Well, I got the first two
I'm really surprised that the third coin went 66. It seems to have more going on in the left obverse field and on Liberty's cheek than the other coins. It does have an exceptionally nice reverse though. All really beautiful coins. After I complete my Lincoln set, I just might start an IHC set.

66RD IH's are the toughest coins to grade, and I agree this was the toughest coin to grade of the three. Keep two things in mind.
The 65RD in this post was a PQ example of a very common date 1909 -- it would get a premium bid for a common date these days, but is the most common date of all common dates.
The 1889 is a very tough date, typically heavily spotted and not very lustrous. It's a condition rarity. This one is as well struck as the 1909 but is slightly cleaner and more lustrous. It merits 66RD and is a very valuable coin.

Thanks for the pointers. I think I was focusing too much on the imperfections I saw. Very easy to do with large images and one of the reasons I use a loupe only sparingly when grading.
