and ruined a lot of peoples Christmas
If you look closely you will see all the negative feedbacks where posted between the 13th and the 19th; the auctions ended between the 1st and the 5th which means this guy still had a good rating at the time that they won the auction and sent in thier payments. You can't blame the bidders this time; the seller was a scam artist.
<< <i><<I dont feel as bad as I should for those people. Did they think that 100 other people lied about him stealing their money and not sending the ipod? Its almost laughable that he got this many people with all of that feedback for his future victims to read and they bid anyway. Have some common sense people!>>

im not sure that i quite agree... if they had looked at all the prior feedback that had been withdrawn and the 2 to 3 negatives with statements like "im too busy to collect your payments" and too busy to stand in line...that would certainly be enough for me to stand clear. Clearly there are a lot of gullible people out there.

Agreed.
Also, shouldn't those people have had some sort of back-up plan in case the guy turned out to be a scam artist (which he is)? Or not put all of their eggs into one basket.
BUT.....why did not ebaY stop or catch this sooner? it seems it is happening more and more?
just my thoughts? MoJoMaN

Worse
Unbelievable!!!
1. People still bid, with hundreds of negs and neutrals.
2. Ebay hasn't booted him with 88% pos FB, though the reason is obvious from his volume.

PS: Anyone know who the number 1 2 and 3 feedback peeps on ebay are? This guy was over 520k when I looked.
<< <i>Signs of fraudulent buyers and sellers are very important to know, they try every method to lie and cheat you out of your hard earned money. >>
The tipoff to the buyers should have been that this guy had a truckload of a single item that was in very short supply.
