1935-D on Teletrade last night

There was a 35-D Buffalo in a 65 holder last night that went for about 1/2 of the recently realized prices. I'm still not comfortable in my own ability to tell as 64 from a 65 so I didn't pull the trigger. If anyone has insights as to why the apparent huge discount, I'd be much obliged. Or did someone walk away with a wonderful bargin?
