If my net worth was in the multiple millions and it was a necessary piece to fill my collection, then maybe. I know it can't be a Gaudens gold coin because we are talking millions. How about one of the bust halfs?

I guess someone might, but as a collector I don't give a rat's tail about the info listed in population reports. I only pay big bucks for coins that # 1 GRAB my interest as a collector and #2 are exeptional the grade AS I GRADE IT for a given issue.

A prime example of a very expense coin that puts me to sleep is the 1913 Liberty nickel. It's just a nickel that was made under illegal circumstances. As such it does nothing for me. It' just high priced collectors' trash so far as I'm concerned.

If I owned one I'd only be interested in selling it for as as I could get so that I could buy some REAL coins.

In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)
