I Took a straight on shot and one tilted to try and show the toning. It is a really cool blue toner;

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

    Both very nice, congratulations! Now, we'd also like to see the reverse of both of them.

    Very nice 1911 Liberty nickel and 1857 half dime. Wonderful toning on both of them.

    Nice detail on that nickel. Looks like a nice group in original condition.

    Bunker:

    That 1857 half dime is gorgeous! It is uncharacteristically well struck for the year. In 1857, there were some 'improvements' made to the hub, to strengthen the details, which were for the most part unsuccessful. The shape of the baseline of the rock would indicate that your coin is from the unretouched hub, but the small 'dent' on the inner point of star 3 is characteristic of the retouched hub. An interesting dliemma. Of course, we are assuming it is a Philadelphia issue. Is it New Orleans? Can we see a picture of the reverse?

    Nice coins!
