Have you put on weight since you started collecting coins?

Coin collecting involves a lot of sitting around... surfing the Internet, examining coins, reading, etc.
Do any of you find it difficult to not gain weight?

Coins keeps my head occupied while on the road . . .
Of course the stuffing/taters/gravy later are going to hammer me.

Seriously, the temptation is definitely there. Middle-aged metabolism, sedentary hobby, rich diet, etc., etc. It's good I keep my collection organized to make it easy on my heirs!
Of course, I only weighed about 50 pounds when I started!

If I had it my way, stupidity would be painful!
Seriously, I don't doubt in the least that coin collecting requires me to sit so much that it leads to weight gain. I am ONLY 45 pounds overweight.

dropped 32 lbs over the last 2.5 years and its staying off !

I started working in a coin shop that was located in a farmers market with a large number of incredibly tastey, but incredibly fattening food vendors. My lunches were nothing but heart clogging goodness followed by the deep fried treats that the Pennsylvania Ducth ladies liked to bring around. Fresh dognuts in the morning were no help. I gained a bunch of weight at that job.
But that was a number of years ago. Now-en-days, my obsession for cycling and running keep me in line.

munch on and maybe a coke to drink. Coin collecting tends to
lend itself to being pretty laid back.
I have read a coin book while on an exercise bike however.
<< <i>Hmmmmmm.... so most folks seem to be in shape and not becoming obese..... and then I go to a coin show, and see fat slobs everywhere.... so, I sense a disconnect.....
Or quite a few people just fudging the truth a bit...
Who wants to admit they are getting fat.
