The closeup of the eye has me very confused; I can find no currently described VAM that has a downward protruding gouge at the top of the eye.

Dennis, the top gouge I believe to be lint. The one on the bottom is not.

VAM-26, mintmark wrong and no eye spikes. Nope.
VAM-27, no broken denticle or broken D of Dollar.
VAM-56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 62 & 72 - not an obverse match.

Possibly B1h reverse, same as VAM-72.

I cannot vam this coin using the attribution guide. Larry Briggs had one like this at the CrabState Coin Show in May...Rob Joyce saw it as
well. To my knowledge it's not been submitted to Leroy. Might be the same as yours.

I would send this to Leroy Van Allen as possibly a new discovery. Congradulations!
