I have one question, Joshua.... When are you expecting it back from PCGS ? If it is not in a mylar and submitted by the close of business tomorrow, I'd be shocked image

Truly, that is one of the most beautiful examples I have seen. It rings of a 68 or 69 without a doubt ! It might be a 70 if it were in my hand image

P.S. I am not even a fan of Frankie, per se., but that looks perfect !

That coin looks dipped to my eyes, but may be the most mark-free Frankin I've ever seen..Mike

It also looks dipped to me- but proof franklins don't look good to me when they don't have cameo contrast......

I guarantee this is not dipped, was in an unopened proofset, and I cut it out myself. There is slight frosting on back of the head and the feilds are so mirrored they look almost black, I like cameos too!

That's easily the nicest proof Franklin I've ever seen, period.

Amazing coin. Never seen anyone post a Franklin like that.

Wow. If all you say is correct in that you pulled it from an original proof set it looks like a candidate for 69 or even 70.

    Simply an amazing proof! image

How did you get the color?
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!

Is it just me or does that E Pluribus look doubled? Or is that reflection?

    Very nice piece.

I would have to say that it is just a reflection, since he said its mirrored really good, the huge crack down the bell on the reverse might keep the grade down to a 68 image
