I agree. On balance they are worse than the Savannah Scammer--many more people bilked for a LOT more money. Silver Eagle sets are their specialty; they've had to have made a small fortune.
The outrage about the Scammer is much more pronounced on the boards though, because nobody here is dumb enough to buy these slabs. Routine case of human nature--people looking after their own interests.

I wonder how much of an effect the recent ACG debacle (time and money spent) has had on people actively pursuing Legal action against these grading services ?
In affect this slabbing service is no different. They provide an opinion that doesn't stand up to currently understood standards.
San Diego, CA
This is in no way in support of ACG but ACG is PCGS compared to SGS.
It's sad to think of all the effort spent on getting the "word" out on ACG and now there are so many of these new TPG'S that it is getting ridiculous. And each with their own grading standards. I believe in SGS's case, the eBAy seller is also the slabber. I also noticed an eBay auction for grading by Hucky (a new grading company in the making?).
Joe.

That's ACC, he's been around for about a year and a half now.
I'm no lawyer, but for a 10% contingency, I'll sue SGS for slander for you Mr. Hall!
