The packaging gives it away (edited to add : ????, as I have no clue and am darned proud of it!), even though the (small) image of the coin itself doesn't provide the answer.
The most interesting thing about this poll so far is that less than 12% have acknowledged they are modern bashers. I think there may be a few that are not telling the truth.
Since it's not a proof, as Coinguy1 pointed out, it is a Philadelphia minted coin according to the package. I know the business strike reverse side could be either type, but wasn't the obverse only type-2? Wouldn't at best your coin be a transition Kennedy?

Murphy...Proof sets were minted at Philadlephia and had no mint mark until 1968 when they were minted at San Francisco and had the S- mint mark.
Appears so to me - I believe I see the highlight of the lines reflecting in the light.
I bet it's in the font size or envelope shade, though. Could be the size or color of the mint emblem in the dollar spot, though....just guesses, but it would be the only way to tell without seeing it on the coin.
What's an accented hair Kennedy, and is there a market for them? There must not be. I've never seen one on Legend's website.

I just found out the answer, since it arrived today. It is the Accented Hair. I thought it was, but wasn't 100% certain. If you look closely, you can see the left side of the wishbone above the ear.
Russ, first off, How could anyone tell from this pic? We cannot see th 'I' in LIBERTY', discern the Hair on JFK, no view of the reverse (for the 'FG strait G' or the broken rays.
So, educate us Russ, How can we tell from this obverse photo, How can we tell? We are always suckin' up knowkedge...............Thanks...............Rick

2.Russ buys A/H proof sets.
3. Russ passes on regular sets unless they're D/C.
4.The dime is a pointed nine.

They actually did sell some Kennedys on eBay a while back. Their realized prices were somewhat less than market.

Good catch on the half and dime. I would have never thought the half was AH from that pic.

I voted yes because of the light reflecting in the general AH area.A regular one should'nt have anything there to cause that much of a reflection.
