Ive sent many AT coins to ncs in fl. then enroute to TT for auction. I have 10x my money on some; but never once broke even [only bright pretty AT though]
That Franklin came from the same grouping of halves with a few ending up in ANACS AT holders. One sold on Teletrade, a few months back, only then to be submitted with PCGS and holdered on the second attempt, from what I understand, reading this forum.
From that same hoard, here's another ANACS (with same insert number grouping as the first ANACS AT Franklins) I'm selling on Teletrade on August 17th: LINK
So... will this one also end up in a PCGS holder down the road?
Edited to add: Here's the former AT ANACS holdered Franklin that ended up in a PCGS holder (after the second attempt) and then sold on eBay by the same Teletrade buyer: eBay LINK
Unless something is wrong with your camera and your photo suite, that Franklin from the auction in question as the topic of this thread will never holder at PCGS. This is only my opinion of course. But I would put strong money on it. They may have come from the same group as the one Russ sold, but they are not kin. The one Russ sold has a daddy, and the other one, the one in this thread, has a midnight rider for a daddy. Those are just my thoughts, they are not worth much except to me!
In an insane society, a sane person will appear to be insane.

They didn't. Setting aside for a minute the radical difference in toning on the one in the auction compared to the one I bought, let's focus on this statement:

And the coin linked above:
The insert numbers are more than 26,000 coins apart.
You're right. I got that wrong. The coin I'm offering now on Teletrade was submitted after the first one that sold on Teletrade. Still the same "batch" of coins though (just submitted weeks apart from one another).
Most were sold in a Franklin album on eBay around the time the one you purchased off of Teletrade sold. I had a couple of extra from the set and placed this one on eBay. Stephunter: If you receive the coin and don't like it for any reason, ship it back and I'll refund the full auction price (keep the other two halves) plus two way postage.

Thanks for the offer to provide a refund, but I am not concerned about it. I like the coins and don't have any intention to return them.

I'm surprised Braddick didn't send it in for grading though.

I agree with Marty on this....I saw the auctions too.
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Ya know Russ I hate it when you pull punches... when are you going to learn to tell it like it is.....

Teach us ignorant ones who want to learn. What do you see on the coin that tells you that?
Thanks.
