A ebay bidder to block
I sold a set of 1999-2005 silver proof sets to "6628terry'' ,he paid quick with paypal and I mailed to his paypal confirmed address, now paypal informs me I may be in reciept of unauthorized funds and has placed a hold of $760 plus dollars on my paypal account, I don't know how this will turn out ,but he would be a good one to block from you ebay auctions, Dan

Thank you for the heads up!!!
Well, you know his address...would it do any good to file with his local PD?
<< <i>What are "unauthorized funds"? >>
That is when a scammer funds his purchase with non-existent funds - usually through a bank account.
If Cdan12 checks his PP page with the buyer's confirmed address, it is likely the the transaction is not covered by the 'seller protection policy'. In order for a reimbursement in scams, not only do you have to ship to the confirmed address but the transaction must qualify for the 'seller protection policy' as noted on the transaction details page.
If it is 'ineligible' then he's s.o.l. That's a little tidbit that PP forgets to point out to sellers (on purpose).
