Auctions like this just freak me out....

We have another common as dirt morgan being touted in a no name 67 holder, and of course it's "worth" $5000. Some knob has already bid it to $335 dollars- so you've got a coin that argueably is worth $30-$50, and it's being sold for at least 10 times that..... Freaky..... image

    I agree, but should not the buyer take some responsibility and do some homework first? Also, I cannot grade it from those pictures, but it could be an MS-66, so they might not be overpaying as much as they might be.

    Obverse fields look funky even though the photo looks to have been enhanced over hair. Same done on reverse, although reverse looks a lot cleaner. Will probably turn out to be a 63/64 in hand.

    There are 2 things wrong with this auction.

    1. no toning? BS I can see it in the rev clear as day

    2. $5000 For a DM .... why not just add in a VAM or 2...this guy doesn't know how to read a grading sheet let alone what the coin actually looks like.
