I think I remember a few years ago that the French used supermodel Laetitia Casta as a model for their coinage. Since she has prior experience, I'd certainly give her an interview for the position.

How about GI Jane. The politically correct, gender equal (and most dumb ass thing I've ever seen) woman would be a good representative for modern day America. A bald headed woman on our coinage would really be something that history could be proud of.
