BUSTIES!!!!

Well - just when you thought I was well entrenched in modern coins, I started thinking that I wanted to do something totally different - something that beckoned history, reading, exploring, etc. So I came to realize that one of the most interesting periods of American history is the first part of the 1800's, when we were still getting our sea legs as a country, and just starting to stretch our wings... So we'll put the Frankies, Kennedies, and Roosies on the back burner for a while - in favor of nice, crusty, dirty, circulated, original, Busties! Thanks to Jon From RCNH and to Stman for getting me going on this new adventure! Show'em off if you've got them!

One of the nice things about this series, is that for the most part, circulated examples can be found between the $100 and $200 range - there'll be some that are more expensive obviously, but to put a year set together - you can't beat this one.

Frank - I also recently embarked on this same adventure a few months back....actually picked up a very nice 1809 at the Delk show 2 weeks ago. Plan on putting together a date set of original eye-appealing circs. I now have 5 busties in the collection, will post pics when my photo abilities improve. Good luck w/ the set.... Al.
