Anyone hear of NGC turning around GSAs in two days?

I sent them five GSA CC Morgans which they received on Monday, May 23. I just got a Danny mail saying they were shipped today. Are they really turning these around in two days?

When I sent in three GSA Morgans to grade, they turned them around very fast. I don't think it was only 3 days, but certainly less than two weeks.

This is the link that told the story of the NGC GSA quick turn around.

I sent them economy. As far as the grades, I don't know. NGC doesn't seem to have an online submission status page.

You should be able to look them up by logging into the Collector's Society section of the NGC website.

You can PM Marty the invoice number and he can look it up. That's what I do.

The 63* is nice!! Did you expect 63s on the other ones?

I figured they were mostly 63s. One I thought may go 64, but it didn't. The two 82-CCs are toned, but they didn't get stars.

Well you know for regular coin submissions they spend a whole 23 seconds or so examining them. But for the GSA coins they don't have to worry about the grading guarantee so they don't have to spend so much time on them. image

I just got two back. It took 16 calendar days including shipping both ways for Early Bird Service. Given when I sent them, I figure that they had them for 3-4 business days. Nice surprise!

    I got an 1882 in 64 and 1880 in 65. Just what I expected.

You guys are making me optomistic

I sent my first ever shipment for grading today.

    10 different Non-CCs economy

1 other Non-CC and 4 CC (80,81x2,85) with club voucher

I guess maybe when it's time to do the GSAs, it is easier to just do everything pending.

I was thinking it would take 2-3 months, now you all have me thinking 2-3 weeks

    Here's hoping

    David
