Just received from teletrade 1899-O Morgan(larger images/adjusted white balance).....opinions please
I bid on this 1899-O Morgan dollar on a recent teletrade auction. It came in an older PCGS holder (doily) I think it is called. It looks like a definate upgrade candidate so I cracked it out and I am about to send it to PCGS. Any thoughts about the grade?

The 64 Carson City Morgans I have look like someone took the mint bag and beat out their rugs with them.

I'm hesitant to judge doctored photos, but if this is really closer to the coin, I'm betting you bought it as a 65 and you think it will go 6?
If the last updates to the picture -- doctored as it is -- is truly much closer to how the coin looks in hand, I'd think you have a pretty decent shot at 6, and *very* little chance that it will come back lower than 5. It all depends on whether it's worth a crackout to you for the chance.
<< <i>Luster looks excellent. Seems to be pretty free of bagmarking. Decent strike. I'll WAG MS65, shot MS66.

<< <i>Thanks Eric...I have it set to A...to make adjustments. Could you explain what setting you are talking about and how to make the adjustment you speak of. Thanks! >>

Question - how serious is what appear to be milk spots to the viewer's lt. of the mintmark, and the apparent discoloration on Miss Liberty's face in back of her mouth?
Eric would know better than most what it would take to get a New Orleans Morgan into a 6 holder. I could help with one from Carson City, but not New Orleans.
