It's hard to imagine I've made it to 500 posts so quickly. I guess I'm just a big mouth, or have a lot of questions, or both. Anyway, in appreciation here is my giveaway...
This giveaway is open to anyone who is not currently a member of the American Numismatic Association (ANA) and has not been a member for at least 3 months. The winner will be chosen out of a hat 1 week from today 12:00 noon EST, from names submitted on this thread. I will contact the winner by PM. They will give me their name and I will contact the ANA and pay for a 1 year membership ($36.00) in the winner's name. It will be the duty of the winner to contact the ANA and complete the membership form. I thought about doing this for the winner, but I don't want anyone's private information.
I reserve the right to revise these rules in mid-contest if I see the potential for any kind of abuse or problems with the procedure relating to the ANA.
The ANA is a great organization. I attended the summer seminars last year and came away very impressed. If you haven't ever read an issue of the Numismatist I think you'll find that would be worth it all by itself. Good luck to you all.
