First box I busted of AI Season 3 I pulled all of the Top 12 Contestants autos which are supposed to be on average either 2 memorabilia or autos per box. Not bad for around $8.

I do have a 6 box case of AI season 4 coming, and I hope my luck is as good. I'll probably pick more up when the price drops, but wanted to get it early, because that is the best time to sell what you don't want.

Overall a fun and cheap bust. Definately worth the money and actually potentially profitable. Much better than wasting money on one box of sports cards and pulling an auto of some jabroni that never will make it in the league.

Do you mean Carrie Underwood? She sang a "Heart" song this week and surprised the hell out of me!
It was off the chart!!!
She's one of my top favorites - also Jessica has a strong voice and closed the show out strong!
The two "Rockers" in the final 12 are pretty damn good - but I think they need to watch their song selection!

did you guys know that one of the guys is Ozzie Smith's son?
In this competition, he's on his own - not doing bad but as a 'rocker' - not my favorite type music.
And yes, Vonzel sang "you get the best of my love" and had her best performance so far in the competition!
This may be the best year yet IMO!

Look at the past years.
Last year sucked by far, and season 2 had maybe 3 great singers (Clay, Trenyce, Kim Locke), and a couple of good ones.
This season has at least 5 great singers (Bo, Jessica, Carrie, Nadia, Anwar) and several good singers. Didn't really care for some of Mikalah's song choices or Lindsey's either, but they were decent singers.
In my opinion, Bo has been the best singer/performer in this competition. The Time in the Bottle performance was perfect. Carrie on the other hand has had a few pitch problems and hasn't always picked the right songs. Although Carrie would potentially be more marketable, I am hoping Bo keeps up his performances and wins it all, especially seeing Simon never thought he was a good singer.
Your top two are mine as well. I dont think they have any strong guys this year. That Bo seems a little weak to me and Constantine sounds too much like Dennis DeYoung of Styx for my liking.
Hopefully they will chop off the lesser singers in the next month and then it will get competitive again.
Side Note, Nadia defeated another former AI 2 hopeful, that didn't make it into the top 32 but made it to hollywood, named Josh Strickland who was criticized in his AI audition for looking too much like Ryan Seacrest. He definately changed his look on Star Search.
Nadia is to me a potential female version of Lenny Kravitz - early on she came out singing a drivin' Rock song with distortion guitars peelin the paint off the walls! She has great stage presence.
I would not be surprised to see the two Rockers vs. the two country singers in the final four? Carrie Underwood had her strongest performance of a Heart number this week IMO. Jessica was a close second with a more smoky style of singing.
Let's face it guys - this gets down to personal taste - but this has been a fun discussion!

Nikko might have had a decent shot to go far if he would have rode the family fame waves, but decided to do it on his own, which probably why he was eliminated in the top 16.
The final will probably have Bo vs Carrie unless someone else makes a strong statement in the up coming weeks.
Anyone planning on buying any of the AI season 4 cards? Just think of what a 1/1 Carrie Underwood auto would go for.
I would definately sell it and buy a regular auto of her.
My guess would be Mikalah Gordon for best looking auto. Don't know why, but I think she might have a cool signature.
Worst looking auto, my guess would be Scott Savol.
Best Auto from Season 3
In my opinion would be Diana DeGarmo with Jasmine Trias a close second.
Worst auto would have to be Jon Peter Lewis who signed it JPL.

It has been a great series and I have been a fan since it started. I kind of get attached to the ones I like and hate to see them go!
It's the only "reality" show I watch.

Carrie's RC just went up a bit tonite! Tho I did like Constantine and Vonzell also. I still like Jessica and Nadia sang better than the credit she got IMO. Will be interesting to see who is out?
Anthony and Scott may be in the bottom and look for a suprise third?

Vonzell lost points for taking a song Trenyce owned on American Idol in season 2. Rule of thumb is to NEVER take a song that another AI contestant already owned on stage.
With that being said, I really liked Nadia, Jessica, and Bo.
To me, Constantine is a sell out. Supposedly a Rocker, but hasn't Rocked on one song yet, but will remain due to the female voters.
Don't be surprised to see 3 guys in the bottom this week. Anwar may be one of them. Personally, I think it's time for Anthony to go, he basically was Screaming instead of Singing.
I think Constantine is more of a broadway singer than a rocker. And Im thinking that Scott and Anthony should be the bottom two. The guys just dont seem to have the push that the girls do. I could see either of the top three girls, maybe top 4, winning, but just dont see any of the guys being better to win. Unless it comes down to male vs. female voters.
Fun show.
and for song selection, i think American Idol has to have the rights/permission to let songs be sung on air, so they're probably limited as to what the contestants can pick..
Aloha this year was hurt by the limitation of song choice when her song wasn't able to get clearance. Tiara Purifoy was in the same boat last year and ended up choosing the wrong song and a song that was sang the previous week, but the modulation she did and people liking John Stevens IV is what hurt her.

I find Anwar to be pretty boring. No pizzaz. I wouldn't mind seeing him go, but it probably won't be this week. (Even though I think he will be in the bottom 3 this week)

Exactly. I thought he was going to be the one to beat, but while everyone else has gotten better, he seems to be stuck in neutral.

On the Constantine "sell-out" - it was brought out on tues. that he was more of a "chick" - "show tune" type guy - sorta hiding out as a rocker....and he has the babes not the guys behind him.
I know this sound corny but I have been watching this show since day one and get used to seeing the people from week to week and really feel bad to see them go.
Some people should count their lucky stars!

As for Constantine, yeah, I know he is a "chick magnet" but through out the show he was claiming to be a rocker and even made the comment that he didn't think they would pick two 29 year old long haired rockers to be in the top 24.
The one that puzzles me is Scott Savol, who knows exactly how many fans this guy really has! I mean, he hasn't been in the bottom and hasn't performed that great either.
Next week, look for Anwar to not be in the bottom 3 no matter what, due to all his fans voting like crazy, just like Anthony's fans did this week.
Man he should have taken lessons from Star Search Junior Singer David Archuletta.
I wonder how many base sets I can make out of this case.
My guess is Anthony or Scott and my surprise exit? Nadia.

In a way I was glad I was spared the listening to Scott's terrible warbling. That guy has to go quickly.
Next week - Scott or Anthony - everytime Simon shoots off his mouth, a bottom feeder is spared!
