How did you survive???

What did everyone do while the site was down yesterday. I think it stayed down most of the day as I could not bring it up last evening. Did anyone discover children they did not know? Spend a mint on E bay? Go to church / temple / mosque? Whats your story? I went to the gym, washed my car, sprayed for ants and cleaned some windows. It was not a pretty story. imageimage

I actually did some work for once. Good for the pocketbook but not a lot of fun.

Trimmed trees, watered, played 18 holes, won a couple beautiful coins on ebay, including one from Jeremy in his jkcoins auction. Always good stuff there.

Well, I went to church of course and then rested from a long trip and relaxed. Got some chores done. Besides, my interest in coins is pretty small right now.

Play 18 holes -- shot terrible. Started reshooting pics of my entire collection. Bought a toned Morgan off Ebay.

Watched the Yankees destroy the hapless Red Soxs! You know its going to be another 80+ years until the next championship when they start making romantic comedies starring your the SuxSoxs.

Just your typical Sunday without this place.

Attempted to install a new air conditioner, which did not work. Maybe tomorrow....

Played Champions of Norath with the wife and packaged two submissions. Nice day.

Lurked over at NGC for the first time. I am actually a registered member, but have never posted, yet even visited the site too much.

I replaced a kitchen cabinet, wife didnt want the bread box below the corner unit, $169.00 from Loews.....could have been a nice toned morgan or closer to completing the barber half set...then went to a local tile store.......bought $2200.00 worth of tiles and underlayment....that could have been the Proof Morgan I have wanted for a while now....seeing as Dad is sitting on his and wont let the grip go for a bit......

    It hurt, it really hurt.

I did manage to go to the local shop and pick up a cameo 1964 Washington and a 1968 Lincoln cameo as well......$5 for the both.....seeing as i was broke after the home upgrades....
Family, kids, coins, sports (playing not watching), jet skiing, wakeboarding, Big Air....no one ever got hurt in the air....its the sudden stop that hurts. I hate Hurricane Sandy. I hate FEMA and i hate the blasted insurance companies.

I put my new bicycle together. New Trek EX7 that could have been a great coin. Unfortunately, I need the exercise and it cost a mint (no pun intended). Did I mention that it's still hovering around -10 to 15F here? Maybe next month...

All weekend I was helping my dad rip up vinyl tile off of the hardwood floor in my room. Then, I had to scrape all the old adhesive off the floor. Next weekend, the floor should be sanded and refinished. Good thing I like going to Homedepot.

I spent some time with my wife pulling last fall's weeds and last winter's parking lot pebbles out of our garden, and spreaded cypress mulch around. Then I posted a bunch of jazz CDs on eBay.
