Post a pic of your favorite coin in your entire collection
How about everyone put up a photograph of the one coin in their collection that is their personal favorite. So no one ends up hogging the thread lets try to keep it to just one coin and just one pic per side of that coin. If we get lots of participants this could end up being a pretty cool thread! Here is mine.

What other coin could I post? I've got quite a few pieces that are tied for second, but this one is still #1.

I guess this coin deserves the #2 position in my collection because it was the piece that got me turned on to early U.S. coinage. I've owned this one for more than 30 yeras.

My 1805 dime might have been used to make some “illegitimate children” at one time. It’s got some plaster or something like that inside the a couple of the letters and the “8” in the date.
As for stories, I’m sure than some counterfeit coins could tell some good ones too. Quite often the activities of rouges make for better reading than the actions of honest people.
That's a nice Dollar, Stuart. I don't have an Bust dollars that quite like that.
