I just received the grade on my 1864 half dime that I posted last month. I was debating whether it was a proof or a business strike. I finally concluded that it was a business strike, which is much scarcer, and submitted it to PCGS as such. Here is a link to the original thread.

PCGS slabbed it as an MS-66. Pop 5/1. PCGS has only slabbed 48 in all grades, including crackouts. I wonder how many of those MS-66's are re-submissions of the same coin? Now I need to find out who has the one MS-67 so I can put a big scratch on it and make mine the finest known (kidding).
