New Morgan: how will it grade?

I just got this in today. It's very nice to look at. Semi PL fields, very clean and frosty relief. I plan on submitting this one as part of my collector's club submission. What do you think PCGS will give it? Pics are a notch underexposed.

Getting a red X for the reverse, but going on the obverse, looks like a nice 65 to me.

They may 5 it...Depending on how bad the mark on the lower cheek is...Thats a great lookin CC dollar..

The cheek's all minor surface abrasions, nothing deep

Nice pics as always. I have the benefit of seeing others' responses. I would have guessed 3 or 4. Now I think it must be a 64. I guess the surface abrasions may not net it down too much, but I don't like the flatness on the Eagle's breast. I guess I can't grade these things that well.

I still say 65, the abrasions on the lower jaw are too heavy to go 66.

Just glancing at it I'd say 64, but PCGS will often bump CC's a grade because of the really great cartwheel luster that most have. Therefore if the luster is typical for a CC coin I'll go 65.

I believe that the coin will be graded

MS-64. On a good day, MS-65.

Your 82 CC deserves MS-65 IMO, 66 for eye appeal. Great looking Morgan.

I think the coin look MS64 from the picture but it may go 65.

I personally think it will go 65 without too much trouble. It looks a lot better than any 64 that I have.

Mark: You've selected another beauty!! I'd guess that it's a lock MS-64 with a shot at MS-65 depending on how they wiegh the contact mark on Miss Liberty's cheek twords the ultimate grade.
