How about reducing the size of your sig line images?

I know this topic pops up every once in a while and draws mixed reviews but here goes.... If you are a user of this forum that has large images in your sig line please consider reducing the size or number of images. It's a real killer for users with slow connections, small screens or low speed Internet connections.

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
Flame away.
<< <i>Have you ever considered high-speed connections? If you can have coins as a hobby, I think you can afford high speed internet.

I do have high speed Internet, at home and at work. Sometimes I use my wireless PDA and those are slow with small screens. I know there are other users who either can't afford high speed or it is not available in their area. Please try to consider other users.
<< <i>Well, Carol had already laid down instructions on size but it is often forgotten. I'd like smaller sig pics, too, and I have high speed at work and home. >>
Sorry about that. I honestly didn't know there was a guideline.
some make the post very difficult to read.
As a rule when I see a thread that I need to scroll right I pass and move on.

"afford" is not the issue where I am located - it just is not available in a one horse town.

So everybody else's driving cars, right?
I'm on probably one of the worlds worst dialup ISP's and have no other choice until I change puters.
The only thing that I can see that slows me down are things running.

<< <i>So, remind me again. What are the guidelines??
No more than four patterns allowed per sigline.

Some of us check the forum during the day at work, and it doesn't look good if someone happens to be walking by and sees that stuff
Personally, I prefer links in the sig line (like mine). Most of us have seen each other's sigs hundreds or thousands or times already. If I'm interested, I'll click on it to check it out.
Mine small enough now? I mean the sig.
Edited for spelling.

Hey in this great land of giant deficits and debt, high speed net availability is nearly as bad as 4th world countries.
That in fact is the ONLY hold up to us investing in a 2nd home in western North Carolina is the lack of broadband where we would like to buy.
Amazing huh?

Sorry for being slow-witted, but I'm not following you there- the pictures in your post are the same size as mine.........
Need more $$$ for coins?
So, not being especially computer savvy... how does one take 2 pics with 150k and reduce that to 20k? (for future reference)..........
I tire of the dialup whiners trying to sink the rest of us to the lowest common denominator. If your connection sucks, deal with it, either in the manner I just described or any way you see fit.
How is this done?

Just do a modicum of research to fix your problem, and it's solved.
Of course you do -- because the numbskulls around here won't take but ten seconds to learn how to use the "off" switch on their web browsers. Instead, these roving Ministers of Propaganda would impose their will on us. Well no thanks, Ministers -- learn how to use your f-ing computers and stop whining.
I don't think you were being very clear with this statement....
