Went to the bank, looking for half dollar rolls. They had 156 dollars of halves, so I bought the lot.
I got home and found 15 solid rolls of 40% silver halves! In the six dollar half roll, there was one 1964 kennedy with the remaining post 1971 coins. I felt I hit a lottery today.

    what do you plan to do with them all? flip 'em on e-bay? it's just about the only place to sell silver at a premium to spot, unless you are a dealer.

    Great find. In about 15 years of doing that I never got that many rolls of silver. I just cashed mine in for melt in December and bought most of a 1889 cc Morgan with it. Are you going to hoard them or sell?

    Awesome score man! I bought $200.00 worth a few weeks backand only came up w/ 6 forty percent. And one roll of 1983's that are a crazy brownish tint w/ orange peel skin ( that no one can explain).

    I hit something like three or four solid rolls of 40%'s at my credit union a couple years back and thought I was doin' pretty good. All the coins were 40% except for two: there was one clad and one 1964.

    Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.

    The only time I had another hit like this was 2 years ago where I got a solid mixed roll of walking libs and franklins. I thought it was Christmas!

    Maybe it was Karmic payback from G-d for the 115 dollar parking ticket I got when I attended the International Invitational Coin Show at the Waldorf last month. What a bummer to get that ticket...Everyone on the block got the same, a major scam from the city.
