This was just listed today at 1243. I sent them a message about 45 minutes later asking if it was the correct price which I know it isn't. Some one jumped on the buy it now about 15 minutes after I asked the question. Maybe I should have hit the buy it now although I really doubt they will let it go for the buy it now price of 160.

    Don't know. But I will say that's one of the best pictures of a coin they've ever taken.

    He won't let it go for that. Had the same thing happen to me on a DMPL NGC Morgan. He requested my info and called, explaining it was a mistake. I new it wouldn't fly either for the price I did get it for. He did offer me a extremely low price on the coin which was far below other same type coins selling on Ebay. I countered and we agreed on a price. I would have loved to have it at me Bin price but the price I bought it for was an extremely nice deal.

    What is E-bay's position on wrong bin prices? Isn't it a contract if it is bought?

    Yes, it is, and if the buyer wants to persist with it and file a NPS against him, it'll count as a 'strike'.

    It might be a contract, but if he isn't going to take your money for it(or refunds) because he won't send it out, what are you going to do?
    Yes, I could have neg'd him, but I'm sure I would have recieved one back.
    In my case it was a legit mistake to me for what the Bin was.

    I have also bin'd a few coins off of fellow board members for .99 cents. These were big buck coins selling in the hundreds. I knew they were mistakes and bin'd them to save then the hassle of dealing with someone who might demand that the coin be shipped or neg them if it wasn't.

    Playing devil's advocate. What if it was not an error, individual contacts you stating there was an error and offers to sell for more than BIN and he/she only pays the fees for the BIN to EBay and gets the coin sold for what they wanted for it?

    Ok I remember him, it's an honest mistake--it's not like this is some PCI MS69 coin with $25 in mailing fees. I'm sure he was in a rush like all of us during the holidays.
