Who else is buying State Quarters from the Mint?

At each issue I purchase 2 rolls from the Mint and also pick up several rolls of original bank rolls from the tellers when they come out.

I like what I pay for the ones from the tellers (face value) but are the ones from the Mint going to do any better in the future?

    Grade wise? value wise?

I posed a similar question a few months back and the consensus was that there were so many minted that most will only be worth a quarter and only the mega high grades are worth fooling with.(If I remember correctly).

Isn't the idea on the mint issue rolls that there is less handling. IE less wear or marking than the bagged and bank wraped rolls. To me it seems there would be a better change of finding a larger percentage of high grad coins in the mint rolls.
A little along the line of buying mint sets rather than trying find good coins in pocket change.

The coins directly from the Mint don't seem to be any better than what you get from a bank. Sadly, the Mint wrappers will likely make them always worth more.

I try to buy 10 sets each issue, and a set (p,d) in the $25.00 mint bags, though this last issue I only bought 5 sets (financially embarrassed this month)

Hopefully when the program is over with I can sell 9 sets to pay for the 1 set I'll keep for my collection

Question... which states where the first 3 issues of the mint rolls, I think I missed the first 2.

I stopped doing that quite some time ago, but since California is the next in the series, I'll probably buy a few items, 2 roll set quarter bag and key fobs. I've been living here for almost 20 years now. I like the key fob with the state quarter on it. My PA is getting quite worn after 5 years of carrying it around in my pocket.

I was just looking at the US mint website, and I see that the date the 2005 state quarters proof sets are going to be available on January 6th. The San Francisco mint must be ahead these days. I don't see a release date for the CA quarters yet.

I also noticed that the quarters all look pretty good this year. I don't see a particularly bad design in any of them.
