eBay is a ghost town right now

The holiday lull has apparently begun. the U.S. Coin: Error category has averaged 1200-1400 auctions a day for months, this morning it was down to about 850 listings. It's either a good time to bargain hunt or a good time to go drink some egg nog.

Also - don't be surprised if eBay has a free listing promotion sometime between Christmas and New Year's Day to drum some business back up.

I suspected last night would be the "grand finale" for the season with a flurry of auctions ending, and then morgue-like silence starting today, and activity won't pick up until at least January 3.

Maybe that's why I did so well last year between Christmas and New Year's...

Maybe they have run out of mullets, or the mullets they did have, finally ran out of money.

I'd love some bargains, but like the others, there's nothing out there that I want.

Geez, Dave.

An eight-year-old thread resurrection? Really made my head spin for a second!

Interesting flashback, though.
