Yep. It depends on why you want a VF. Are you like Braddick and like to collect pocket pieces or are do you just want to pay a low price?
If it's the former it will take some time to find a nice VF that hasn't been damaged. If the latter I'd try to find a nice AU58 for about $400 of a 26-P or 32-P.
Are you serious that you use an eagle or half eagle for a ball mark? I use a 1970 cent (my birth year) and I get annoyed if I lose it on the golf course.
