I don't see his High Relief on eBay. Do you have a link?

We just bought a nice High Relief Saint. I mean it's "nice" to us poor folks, although most would not appreciate it in it's lowly grade of AU.

That is not the same ANACONDA as on these boards. This ebay seller is spaming his name and set up just like ANACONDA trying to draw his customers. Its ANACONDA II with under 30 feedback image

That's NOT Anaconda! Anaconda is anaconda.rare.coins. Different phone ##. Check out the top of the fraud's listing.

Just look at the listing and the feedback. Its all wrong. I wonder how many people fall for it.

I love the jabs he takes in his descriptions. Unfortunately, this seller must not be the brightest guy to do this to a lawyer.

<< <i>Greetings, humans. This is Adrian Crane speaking to you. I own Anaconda Rare Coins. We advertise and sell rare coins here on eBay under the name anaconda.rare.coins (http://stores.ebay.com/Anaconda-Rare-Coins-and-Currency_W0QQsspagenameZl2QQtZkm) as well as selling our coins at garages sales here in the neighborhood. "Yeah, alright, I'll take $5 for the leaf blower with the broken motor. By the way, are you looking for any certified U.S. rare coins? Maybe some bust dollars or some monster toned seated halves or proof buffalo nickels? Oh, sorry. No, I don't need any state quarters. Beg your pardon? Oh, that old radio with the missing knob? $3." >>

But think, people might actually try to work a deal and trade a whole set for a listed coin to this guy and get taken.

Lee...I presume you mean ANACONDA vs. ANACONDA???image

Heck for a million dollar coin, we'd have to meet in person, the seller brings his/her entourage, I bring my entourage,
we meet together at a local bank office, and if the deal is consumated, we'd transfer the money over then and there to the seller.
A entourage would include a lawyer and body guards, maybe even off duty police or FEDs.

No way it would be bought sight unseen off of Ebay.

That's a good bet since it doesn't look like the real Anaconda owns it.image

This guy actually is a friend of Adrian's and sells lesser coins for him. Adrian mentioned it in one of his prior posts here. I tried to search for it but couldn't find it.

My guess is this one is done to get some attention for Store #2.

Agreed. I'm surprised he is up to 29 feedbacks without being shut down by the real Anaconda.

Is AnacondaII Adrian's teenage son? I got that impression some time ago, looking at AII ebay offerings. I seem to recall Anaconda has made forum references to AII. Anyway... great pics, very nice coin!!!

Not quite sure if you could consider his slams in his description too 'friendly' image

Actually, I'm sure the "slams" were written by Adrian. That prose is typical Adrian and tough to mimick.

Wayne, it takes an Aggie to get to the truth image Yes, the listing IS accurate and it WAS written by Adrian and they ARE Anaconda's coins. Call him at his "other number" & ask him if you want.

Is it just me or is it a pain in the a$$ to read that text as it doesn't all fit on the screen, requiring scrolling back and forth?
BTW, I'm using 1152x864 pixels on a 19 inch monitor, if that matters.
  • Options
Yeah, that is a pain in the butt. I have to do the same thing on my laptop but not on my desktop. I'll change that.

Thanks, Barry. You may now die in peace someday as you have finally done a kind act to another person, albeit unintentionally.
