Name the one or two coins that you need to complete a set that you are working on.

Outside of my collection of 1804 Dollars by die varietyimage, I normally don't put together sets of any series. But in the past 3/4 months I've been aiming for a set of the moderm commem gold in BU and Proof. At first I only focused on the UNCs because the mintages are soooo low, but when you start looking at the quality of a DCAM Proof couple with the beautiful designs it just made sense to add the Proofs.

I'm missing the Jackie Robinson $5 BU which is about a $2000 coin.

This has been a really fun set to put together.

I need two coins to complete my set of Draped Bust/Heraldic Eagle half dollars by Redbook variety: an 1802 and an 1806 over inverted 6.

Anybody got either one in Good to Fine condition?

    Anybody?

Most of my coins are raw a few of the higher dollar coins have been gradded. Missing in sets 1857 flying eagle-1909svdb-1912s V 5c-1916d winged liberty head- the rest of my sets are pretty much complete by mint mark and date not including all varities. Working on a type set from 1800 to present.

1909-S Indian cent, XF/AU. I have a small handful of cheaper dates to upgrade in that collection, but when I get this one, the series will be essentially complete except for some minor varieties.

I need four coins to finish a 20th century proof type set, and I don't see it being completed any time soon. I probably should have done something else that was more realistic to complete.

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

Unfortunately, I waited to buy the key dates as those were pretty expensive. However, since I have started collecting, the key dates have gone up in price a lot faster than the common dates. Learned my lesson, but too late to help now. I will have to anti up some day and just buy the keys.

    Here is what I need:
    IHC's 1877 and 1909-S
    Lincoln's 1909-S VDB
    Merc's 1916-D
    Walker's 1921's

I'm nine coins away from completing my modern commemorative uncirculated set. I scored the Jackie $5 before the prices got outrageous for them -- "only" cost me about $600 for it. The big ones I'm missing are the 1995-96 Olympic gold. Maybe next year -- I'm out of cash this year...

My raw lincoln set: 1922-Plain VF25 or better, 1955/55 XF45 or better (the only two I have left... although I dont concider either as a necessity for having a "complete" set.

    I'm still looking for:

    -1938-S and 1939-D Jeffersons (G-4+)
Bank rolls and poker night still haven't gotten me there.

    -1952-P Roosevelt (VF-20+)

Sad, eh? I figure one of these two will be the first (other than birth year) set I complete. Every other series I collect has a lot more than one or two holes and grad school doesn't pay enough to fill 'em.
My coins can beat up your coins.
