Outside of my collection of 1804 Dollars by die variety, I normally don't put together sets of any series. But in the past 3/4 months I've been aiming for a set of the moderm commem gold in BU and Proof. At first I only focused on the UNCs because the mintages are soooo low, but when you start looking at the quality of a DCAM Proof couple with the beautiful designs it just made sense to add the Proofs.

I'm missing the Jackie Robinson $5 BU which is about a $2000 coin.

This has been a really fun set to put together.

Most of my coins are raw a few of the higher dollar coins have been gradded. Missing in sets 1857 flying eagle-1909svdb-1912s V 5c-1916d winged liberty head- the rest of my sets are pretty much complete by mint mark and date not including all varities. Working on a type set from 1800 to present.

Unfortunately, I waited to buy the key dates as those were pretty expensive. However, since I have started collecting, the key dates have gone up in price a lot faster than the common dates. Learned my lesson, but too late to help now. I will have to anti up some day and just buy the keys.

I'm nine coins away from completing my modern commemorative uncirculated set. I scored the Jackie $5 before the prices got outrageous for them -- "only" cost me about $600 for it. The big ones I'm missing are the 1995-96 Olympic gold. Maybe next year -- I'm out of cash this year...

My raw lincoln set: 1922-Plain VF25 or better, 1955/55 XF45 or better (the only two I have left... although I dont concider either as a necessity for having a "complete" set.
