This one was an easy spot that they are the same coin from the hit behind the lower curls in her hair. Nice coin though.

  • Same coin, look at the "phantom" 6 or whatever, above the '0' in the date......image

Nice coin. RB is what it should be, in my opinion, taking all three images into account and considering that this piece is 200 years old.

“I believe in intuitions and inspirations. I sometimes feel that I am right. I do not know that I am. When two expeditions of scientists, financed by the Royal Academy, went forth to test my theory of relativity, I was convinced that their conclusions would tally with my hypothesis. I was not surprised when the eclipse of May 29, 1919, confirmed my intuitions. I would have been surprised if I had been wrong. I am enough of the artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.” Albert Einstein- quoted in Saturday Evening Post interview (1929)

“Whoever is careless with the truth in small matters cannot be trusted with important matters.” For Einstein, honesty was fundamental. Attention to truth in small things reflected a person’s integrity on a larger scale.

  • There's quite a bit of light coloration on the coin in the protected areas and one can even find some red holed up in the deepest recesses however in my opinion it is properly designated as brown. (I have the coin in my possession and Brandon captured my image and was tweaking it.)

... and to throw a bone for those of us who cannot afford a Gem example of the coin...

Here's one in slightly lower grade..

It appears to be an early die state. Clean surfaces. Would be nice if I could see the reverse, too. Image #1 IMO makes the coin appear more natural. If I saw a 200 year old copper look like image #2, I'd wonder what had been done to the coin.
