Is this machine doubling or something else?

If this '69 S cent is an example of machine or ejection doubling why is the "1" doubled to the "north" and the other three digits doubled "east?" Wouldn't all digits in the date of a machine doubled coin be doubled in the same direction? Also, the mintmark appears to me to be doubled to the "west." Does anyone know how these seemingly inconsistent with each other doublings can happen when a coin is machine doubled?

Thanks to all who posted images. I would suggest to Murphy, and this is only a suggestion, that you put "fake" or "altered" underneath your pic of 1914 D lincoln that shows up everytime you post. I've seen these on ebay offered as genuine and a new member of the forum with little or no experience in counterfeit detection might get the idea that your coin is genuine and subsequently purchase one that looks similar thinking he or she has gotten ahold of a real one.
