    What is the name of your coin business. If people look for you at the show, who do they ask for?

    Good question. I'd certainly look for GTG at a show and try to do some biz.

    In all seriousness, if the price of a pack of flips is all that's coming between you and a successful business, then don't quit yer day job. You've been given some good, sound advice by some very experienced members here. If I were you I'd sell a bunch on eBay and deal small time until you've built up the capital you need.

    I've sold coins to dealers at shows, and as soon as they pull out the old checkbook I turn away. Most collectors selling to dealers are looking for cash to either get out of coins or to buy other coins they see at the show.

    Just something to ponder.

    IMO, it is going to be tough to profit $500-$1000 per show selling Proof ASE's, wheat cents, etc., etc.

    You know..... you *could* set up an auction on ebay where people pay $1 per envelope, with every envelope containing a single coin. Tell 'em they have a random chance at a 16 dime and 32 quarter, and then sucker 'em with buffs and wheats!

    I just got a call from GregTheGreat. He did finally receive a box of 5,000 2X2 coin holders from an anonymous forum member. However, they were the staple 2X2 holders and it did not take him long to realize that he did not have any staples or even a stapler for that matter. The lack of stapling equipment and supplies has rendered his 5,000 2X2 holders useless. He has asked me to post the following request here on the forum:

    "Please send me a stapler and a box of 10,000 staples so that I can get my rare coin business off of the ground. Please.....won't you help....?"

    I have talked to dealers before at large 4 day events, they had 10,000 cash in change, just for those four days, I suggest you bring at least a thousand if its a day, money can run out quick, speaking from experience of a domnios driver, one guy might give you exact change another a 100, or another a 50 you dont know and you have to plan accordingly.
