    Gorgeous color image Maundy sets have a certain appeal for me - but I must say I prefer them in the original cases.

    I agree on the cases!

    One thing i do wonder though is the description... 1P, 2P, 3P and 4P?

    I would prefer 1D, 2D, 3D and 4D. Although P is technically the correct term now since they are now valued at face value in new pence and have been since decimalisation.

    But then again originally it would have been D.

    How are sixpences marked up? Are the 6D or 6P? (They should be the former).

    Sylvestius, you're right about the holders. Sixpences are also labelled 6P by NGC.


    GDMSP, I also agree on the cases, but this was an ebay purchase -as if you didn't recognize the pics image -and I basically buy certified on ebay.
