  If he were to spend time on that, he'd probably have to add his time to the shipping cost, as well as the cost of the electricity for the camera, and the computer, and the wear/tear on his CPU and hard drive, and...

  Not breaking up the collection makes little sense. All collections - great or small - end up being broken up eventually, and the one bing advertised is not exceptionsl (although it's probably nice). The seller would do better selling the pieces individually and should probably consider an auction house for best prices relized.
